In the summer of 2010, Susanne (Suus) will ride her bike from Amsterdam to the North Cape in northernmost Norway. The purpose of this bicycle trip is to raise funds for the Dutch Cancer Society (KWF Kankerbestrijding).

Why?
Suzanne is driven in this goal as in the past couple of years she has witnessed first-hand, within her family, the pain and suffering this disease has caused. Her experiences have made her realize how lucky she is to be healthy. As she loves to ride her bike, she decided to undertake a ride against cancer.

The Dutch Cancer Society
(KWF Kankerbestrijding) has been active in the battle against cancer for 60 years. This is done by financing research, stimulating international research, providing information, and through patient support. It is partly because of this ongoing financial support that Dutch cancer research is of high-ranking international quality.

Riding & Painting
Friend Maike will accompany Susanne by car to the North Cape. Maike is a visual artist, and along with being Susanne's mobile support, will create a series of landscape paintings entitled Northscape. These paintings will be put up for sale, with all proceeds also going to KWF Kankerbestrijding.

Anti Inefficiency Policy
We enforce a strict anti-inefficiency policy: all the money we collect will go, in its entirety, to the Dutch Cancer Society.
